With Naviguer NB as your guide, it is easy to find the experiences and destinations that will make your long weekend unforgettable.
Péninsule acadienne – Une journée de calme côtier

Spend the day winding along the Péninsule acadienne. Pick up a coffee at Kaffeine Expresso Bar in Bathurst while exploring the city’s rich Acadian history and culture before hopping in the car to make your way up to parc de la plage Youghall. Soak up the sun and enjoy a late-summer swim before ending the day with a slow drive back along the water to take in the sunset at phare de Miscou.

From the sandy stretches of Shediac to the tidal flats near Dorchester, the Côte Est is a celebration of saltwater and fresh-caught flavour. Start your day at the Réserve d’oiseaux de rivage et centre d’interprétation de Johnson’s Mills, where you can watch migrating shorebirds rest along the shore. Make your way up to Shediac and stop for lunch at the whimsical Le Moque-Tortue. Stroll along the beach or go for a swim at Parc provincial de la plage Parlee before making your way to USVA Spa to relax and unwind.
Capital & Beyond – Culture in the City and Countryside

In the Capital & Beyond region, city charm meets rural beauty. Take a tour with Wabanaki Tree Spirit Tours to learn about Wabanaki history and culture and the medicinal plants, mushrooms, and wild foods in the region. Stroll along Queen Street and stop in at The Artisan District to browse locally made treasures. Venture out of town to Nackawic to see the World’s Largest Axe, before heading to Big Axe Brewery where you can enjoy a cold drink while taking in views of the Saint John River.
Miramichi – Une épopée riveraine

Follow the Rivière Miramichi as it winds past historic landmarks, peaceful parks, and welcoming communities. Start your day by taking in the sights and floating down the river with Gallan’s Miramichi River Tubing. Dry off before heading to Musée des bûcherons du centre du Nouveau-Brunswick, to learn all about New Brunswick’s lumber tradition. Take time to explore the city’s heritage sites and enjoy its scenic waterfront before heading upriver to discover stories that span thousands of years. Make your way to Namaste Bistro, in Miramichi where you’ll enjoy dinner.

La région de la Porte d’entrée invites you to slow down and enjoy its small-town charm. Stop and smell the roses at the Jardin botanique du Nouveau-Brunswick. After your morning stroll, head over to Le Patrimoine for a delicious lunch. Still hungry? Head over to Fromagerie de la République to watch the cheese-making process and pick up some snacks for the road. End your day with a stop at the Fortin du Petit-Sault, in Edmundston to get a taste of the local history.

The Îles Fundy provide a slower pace and endless coastal charm. Start your day in Saint Andrews with a whale-watching tour with Quoddy Link Marine. Grab some takeout and enjoy your lunch on the patio at Saint Andrews Brewing Company while sipping on one of their brewed-on-site beers. Catch an afternoon ferry over to Grand Manan where you will take in the sights before catching the evening ferry home, or book a stay at Park Place Retreats.

Few places put on a show like the Baie de Fundy. Start your day in Saint John with a quick visit to the Chutes réversibles, to see the Bay of Fundy tides in action! Make your way up to Hampton for lunch at Beer Daddy BBQ, for some of the best BBQ in the province. Drive down to St. Martins for a one-of-a-kind sea kayaking adventure with Bay of Fundy Adventures.
