I am an award-winning author/poet/playwright/composer with (dis)Ability who resides in the remote Appalachians of New Brunswick, along the Wolastoq. I am known for featuring many culturally-diverse and ability-diverse characters in all of my writing, inspired by the Indigenous reservations, inner cities and low-economic mountain areas where I have taught in four countries. My novels, and my musical Rough Notes are set in historical times, in rural NB and have been published and produced/distributed worldwide, with NB politicians and artists in attendance.
