Once slated for clear-cutting, the 600-acre Connors Bros. Nature Preserve now safeguards old-growth spruce, salt-marsh wetlands and two kilometres of rugged Fundy coastline near historic Pea Point Lighthouse. Follow well-marked loop trails through moss-carpeted forest, scan offshore ledges for sun-bathing seals, and visit interpretive panels that detail the sardine company’s conservation legacy. The preserve is free, dog-friendly and an easy add-on to any memorable Fundy coastal road-trip.
