Perched on the 1845 shire-town hilltop, the Albert County Museum spans eight heritage buildings and 24 themed exhibits chronicling lumber barons, Prime Minister R.B. Bennett and Fundy’s tidal pioneers. Visitors roam jail cells, one-room schoolhouses and a dinosaur-rich natural-history hall, guided by interpreters in period dress. Family events, quilt shows and river-view picnics make this open-air complex a cultural gem minutes from Hopewell Rocks.
